A Family Story Since 1974

The Birth of an Icon

It all began in 1974, amidst the scent of yeast and the warmth of Amedeo Rizzoli’s oven, alongside his wife Edi Anna Maria. It was they who changed the habits of our city forever, giving life to an idea as simple as it was revolutionary: the triangular focaccia.
That shape was not merely aesthetic, but the hallmark of superior quality. In a short time, that golden, crispy triangle became a symbol, a fixture for generations of locals.

The Original, Despite Everything

They say imitation is the highest form of flattery. Over the years, many have tried to replicate Amedeo’s idea, but the true soul of the “Triangle” lies in a recipe that cannot be copied: the “manego“, or the skill involved in making the focaccia.
The original has a flavour that speaks of history, of hands dusted with flour and of an authentic passion that has lasted for fifty years.

The Present: Grandson Andrea and daughter Giuliana Rizzoli

Today, Amedeo and Anna are no longer with us, but their spirit lives on in every batch baked. To honour their memory and carry on this legacy, I, Andrea, and my mum Giuliana have decided to take on a new challenge.
And so “Triangoleria Rizzoli da Andrea” was born: a place where the tradition of the past meets the dynamism of the present..
