Located in the heart of Monterosso al Mare, directly beneath the Fegina train station, Il Massimo della Focaccia is a historic artisan focaccia bakery in the Cinque Terre, established in 2009.
For over 15 years, Massimo and Daniela, together with their team, have been passionately crafting traditional baked goods every day, combining experience, quality ingredients and a deep love for Ligurian cuisine.

The bakery offers a wide selection of freshly made products, including focaccia, pizza, savory pies and homemade desserts. Among the sweet specialties are biscuits, baci di dama, cakes and the traditional mini Genoese pandolci, known for their rich flavor and fragrant texture.

The true star is the authentic Ligurian focaccia, locally known as fügassa, available plain or topped with delicious ingredients such as olives, onions, tomatoes and cheese. It’s the perfect choice to enjoy by the sea, during a beach break, or as a tasty snack while exploring the Cinque Terre hiking trails.

Inside the shop, you’ll also find a dedicated corner featuring artisan local delicacies, including handmade biscuits, lemon marmalade, onion compote, canestrelli cookies, artisanal liqueurs with licorice or mandarin, limoncino, as well as a selection of gluten-free products.
