Focacceria in Bonassola
Our family opened the focacceria in 2007, but my father had been a baker since 1984 and with my mother he ran La Spiga d’Oro bakery in Bonassola. Our specialities are focaccia alla genovese (classic focaccia with olive oil), whose 100% authentic recipe was given to my father by his old partner, a Genoese baker. Another speciality is cheese focaccia (not like the Recco one), Genoese-style potato meatloaf with green beans (there is also a version with pesto), rice cake and all the different versions of focaccia, with onions, with cherry tomatoes, with sausage, with pesto, with potatoes, with courgettes, with aubergines… in short, we satisfy all tastes offering classic, sophisticated and innovative options.
