Agriturismo Al Vecchio Podere is a welcoming family-run farmhouse located in the heart of Lunigiana, in Mochignano di Sotto, a small village in the municipality of Bagnone. Surrounded by the unspoiled nature of northern Tuscany, it is the perfect destination for those seeking a relaxing and authentic experience focused on tradition and genuine flavors.

Established in 2014 as an extension of a farm that has been active since 1930, the agriturismo still preserves a strong connection to the land and its rural heritage. The property consists of two buildings overlooking a spacious courtyard and a large garden, ideal for enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the Lunigiana countryside.

The restaurant building, dating back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries, stands out for its charming original features, including a distinctive brick vaulted ceiling. The guest rooms, furnished in a simple and classic style, are located in a separate building from the 1970s, once used as a stable and hayloft, now fully renovated to provide comfort while maintaining its authentic character.

The agriturismo’s restaurant is one of its highlights, offering traditional Lunigiana cuisine made with fresh, local ingredients. The recipes, passed down from grandmothers Anna and Edda, celebrate the region’s culinary heritage through authentic flavors. Among the most popular dishes are handmade “tordei” pasta and fried lamb, true icons of local gastronomy.

The farm extends over approximately 20 hectares, including vineyards, olive groves, meadows, pastures, and vegetable gardens, ensuring a sustainable and farm-to-table production. The property also features cattle and sheep farming, with a focus on the local Zerasca breed. In addition, beekeeping has been introduced, producing chestnut and acacia honey while supporting the ecosystem through the essential role of bees as pollinators.
