100% Naturale Gelateria Artigiana

100% Naturale Gelateria Artigiana has been a benchmark for artisanal gelato in Sestri Levante and Chiavari since 1987. Founded by Luca, a gelato maker, and Daniela, a pastry chef, the gelateria was born from a deep passion for quality and a constant pursuit of excellence.

Every day, they produce natural, gluten-free and highly digestible artisanal gelato, using only carefully selected raw materials and high-quality ingredients, with great attention to the supply chain and the local area.

The milk comes from local farms with Cabannina cows, an indigenous Genoese breed recognized as a Slow Food Presidio. The sugar used is Nostrano, the only 100% Italian raw beet sugar from a certified agricultural supply chain.

To ensure a lighter and more digestible gelato, organic fibers are used to partially replace fats and sugars, taking advantage of their prebiotic properties and health benefits.

Great care is given to enhancing local products: the gelateria uses fresh fruit, honey, and dried fruit daily, sourced from small local producers. Among these stands out the Nocciola Misto Chiavari, a Slow Food Presidio, of which the gelateria is also a founding member of the consortium.

A distinctive feature is that all products are 100% gluten-free, recognized and recommended by associations such as AIC Italia and gluten-free platforms. In addition, the gelateria follows sustainable practices by using compostable and recyclable materials.

Over the years, 100% Naturale Gelateria Artigiana has received important awards: from the Genoa Chamber of Commerce with the title “Artigiani in Liguria – Master Gelato Maker,” to recognition from Slow Food and awards from Gambero Rosso, which ranked it among the best gelaterias in Italy with the “Two Cones.” The gelateria is also featured in leading guides such as Il Golosario and Le Routard.
