The goal of La Darsena in Portovenere is to meet the needs of those guests who, during a short stay, a weekend away or an unplanned visit, do not have fixed schedules and prefer to nibble something that makes them travel through time and space, breathing in the history that pervades the walls of the historic carugio sloping towards the sea. THE RESTAURANT

La Darsena bases its culinary offer on the seasonality and freshness of products available on the local market, so guests will always be assured of a zero-kilometre dish, prepared with the best raw ingredients of the moment. For this reason, different delicacies will often be present along with more classic dishes.

THE TAPAS BAR

In food history, the combination of different concepts is a truly exceptional tool, if skilfully used, to offer guests something unusual and special.

La Darsena introduces its own idea of aperitif and lounge bar: a combination of appetisers that accompany the guests on a journey through the flavours of Liguria, offering the opportunity to taste many specialities with great gusto.

Hence the “Spanish tapas” formula: lots of special little tastes.

THE LOUNGE BAR

In the lounge bar area, La Darsena has a vast and sophisticated offer. The barman will surprise guests with unusual and interesting flavours, a selection of exotic cocktails for the most curious and refined palates, and of course all the classic aperitifs.
